After a great response last year, the Greene-Dreher Historical Society is offering a second in the series of their program Grave Matters.

Ellen Drake and Ruth Altemier will present a History of Halloween from its beginnings in Pagan ritual to the mid-20th century in 1950s Newfoundland.  The program will be followed by a tour of the historical Kipptown Cemetery.

This event is free and open to the public.  Registration is requested by October 14.  Call 570-676-9816 and leave a message with name and number of attendees.  For more information, visit our website at greenedreherhs.org or on our Facebook page under events.
