Spanish Influenza of 1918: 100th Anniversary of a Pandemic

Author and historian, Tammy Schane, will discuss why the Spanish Influenza became a pandemic spanning across six continents.  This flu affected nearly 500 million people, killing between 50 to 100 million of those infected.

The public is welcome to this free event.  Light refreshments will be served after the program.
